sometime ago...

a few weeks back
left at 5 am (a ridiculous hour)
in car full of supplies
on the hunt for a place.

around about 1030 am
we had arrived.
we had found the place
we were in ZION!

all i'm going to mention about any of
the bus rides up to our hikes,
is the creepy little albino
girl that was on our first ride.
she still haunts my dreams.

we all made it. we did have to stop a few
times to rest. i mean 21 switch backs is
a little rough.

but after getting to the top the view is
worth the hike.

i am sooooo soooo sorry that i haven't provided you with 
reading material this past week or so. i hope that one day you 
will forgive me of my wrong doings and commit to reading my blog
on a regular basis once more.
also, at your request, i am providing this here link  (to all three of
my avid readers) so they too can know what the children of the
future are learning from professor giraffenstein.

pc adventure

saturday night stef and i went to the condo
in park city.
we decided that we needed an overnight
getaway.
we didn't do much of anything.
walked main street.
looked in shops.
took goofy pictures.

sunday morning we went
to jordanelle.
we were going to swim
but the water was beyond freezing.
so we just laid in the sun.
and enjoyed the rays.

sunburn = MAJOR OUCH!

we got a little hungry so we
drove to Granny's - a drive in heber.
they had some of the most delicious fries
i have ever eaten.

it was then time to head back to the valley.
back to our busy lives.
was super fun and a much needed
getaway.
i <3 my bff!

home again...

well last weekend i moved back home.

with tons of help from my parents.

it was a very sad day!

i already miss my home soo much.

i miss my roommates dearly.

anytime i go to drive home, i could cry.

i feel like i am driving in the wrong direction.

i really miss coming home to my

best friends every night.

talking about our good/bad days.

sitting at the table eating dinner.

having someone to brush my hair.

i miss taco tuesday.

i already miss all our awesome parties.

living at home is alright.

minus my brother.

minus the heat.

but on the plus side

no rent

free food

and well that's about it.

thank god it's only temporary.

once i get back from europe

i will be out the door.

hiking

so monday afternoon i decided to go on a little hike.

i put on my hiking boots

grabbed my camera

and walked into the backyard.

i know it's pretty awesome

that to go hiking all i have to do is

walk out the back door.

on my little adventure

i found a broken television.

a broken computer

and lots of other junk

that shouldn't have been

on my nature hike trail.

there is a field directly behind us

with a pack of horses.

is it a pack? or herd? or a bunch?

i attempted to summon one to me

using the trusty shadowfax whistle.

i was unsuccessful.

all the horses ran from me.

i took lots of pictures.

as usual.

i'll share a few

but next time i go

i shouldn't wear basketball shorts.

CREEPER

so about a week ago

i accepted a friend request on

good ol' facebook.

i didn't know the fellow

(let us name him martin)

but i thought

what the hell and approved the friendship.

so for the next week

every time i was on facebook

it seemed martin was online.

he would always begin chatting with me.

asking me weird questions.

making me uncomfortable.

suggesting that we hangout.

i decided to delete him yesterday.

10 minutes later

my phone vibrates

"Martin has sent you a friend request"

Ignore!

my phone vibrates again.

"Martin has sent you a message"

hey did i say something wrong or something for you to take me off your friends list.

I didn't reply.

phone vibrates.

"Martin has sent you a friend request"

Ignore!

phone vibrates again.

phone vibrates for the third time.

"Martin has sent you a message"

do you still want to be friends with me

I didn't reply.

once again the damn phone vibrates.

i guess you dont want to be friends anymore then

i didn't reply.

one last time the phone vibrates.

"martin has sent you a friend request"

IGNORE!!!

*mind you this whole thing took place within 15 minutes*

so by this point i am completely creeped out

and laughing uncontrollably.

i don't know this dude

AT ALL!

and he is already acting like a stalker.

not a quality i normally look for in a friend.

the rest of the night my phone stays pretty quiet

just normal text messages

and such.

did i say something wrong or something i thought we were friends.

i didn't reply.

some dudes are just plain creepy!

so if i end up raped, missing, or murdered. 

know that he will be at the top of the suspect list. 

because for whatever reason

he just really wants to be my friend.
